2021: Scientist Sophia and her team follow a rare specimen of mako shark named Lilith that has reached a size beyond normal growth. Trying to take a champion her husband and her team are slaughtered.

2024: Three years after the tragedy Sophia works at the Paris aquarium until she is approached by environmental activist Mika who informs her that the shark that killed her husband has traveled upriver and is swimming in the depths of the Seine . For Sophie, Lilith's presence in those waters makes no sense and the best thing would be to get her back into the sea before she can claim victims since Paris will host the World Triathlon Championship in the river; Aided by the river police captain Adil, Sophie must stop Lilith before she is too late.
